A Faithful Testifying to Others

The importance of testifying to others is seen in the Word, “Whosoever therefore shall confess Me before men, him I will confess also before My Father which is in heaven.  But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before My Father which is in heaven.”  (Matt. 10:32-33)

We are an example and a representative of Christ and we must not be ashamed of that.  We are to be living witnesses for Christ.  That means sharing the good news and telling others about Jesus and speaking up when we have the chance to share truth.  What good is it to have the cure for cancer, if you don’t tell anyone about how to cure it.  In the same way, you can’t bring life to those perishing if you don’t share the truth and be a testimony.

Matt 12:30 says, “He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.”

We are either for or against God and there is no in-between.  We are commanded to preach the gospel and that is just what we should be doing.  Besides, when we have Jesus in our heart, he will come out automatically.  It is  a joy to tell others about how Jesus died for them and the wonderful promises in His Word.
