The Joy of Salvation

The joy is Jesus Christ died so we may live, God sent His only begotten Son to suffer death for the sins of men, that we may run to Him because Jesus is alive and here with us today!

In Colossians 1:23, it explains how we continue to carry that joy and experience it in our daily walk.  There are too many Christians who walk around without a smile on their face and you would never know they had Jesus in them.  The joy of the Lord is an expression that is based on overall gratitude for our salvation and what God has done for us and it doesn’t change with circumstances.  Happiness is based on “happenings” and circumstances but joy can be felt in even when you are going through hardship or trials.

We have been given freedom, the reassurance that Christ is always with you and you can always rely on Him and He will hear you.  All the promises that he gives to His people are also ours.

As you fill yourself with God’s Word and spend time in His presence, you won’t be able to hold any joy back!
