Child-like Faith

It if funny that as a child, we start with such an innocence that if we are told something by our parents, we just believe it.  I think that is one trait Jesus intended us to take with us as we journey through life.  If you tell a little child about Jesus and what he can do, they have no problem believing it and expecting results.

It is not until we are older that we let the cares and circumstances of life fill us with fear and doubt.  Father God wants His children to take him at his Word and believe him when He tells you something.  How would you feel if you told your child that you loved them and they just didn’t believe you, saying, “That sounds nice but I doubt it.”  Or you had a present for them and told them to come and see, but they refused to come because they didn’t think it really existed.  That would probably offend you.

Matthew 18:3

and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”

I encourage you to dig into the Word today and find one thing that Father God promised you and choose to just believe him and exercise your Child like Faith!
